If your device is lost, stolen, or destroyed, entering this exact sequence of words into a new wallet application will fully restore your balances and transaction history.
How should I store my recovery phrase securely?
Secure storage of your recovery phrase requires keeping it strictly offline. You should write the words down on high-quality paper or engrave them into a specialized metal backup device (like a steel capsule) that can withstand fire and water damage.
